In-Person

Weekend of November 23-24

Join us at the SNHU Arena in downtown Manchester, New Hampshire. The in-person ceremony offers you the opportunity to celebrate with fellow graduates to the cheers of family and friends in the crowd and those watching the livestream on YouTube. Your name will be announced as you receive your diploma cover from SNHU leadership and are projected on the giant screen above the stage. The typical ceremony has over 1,000 graduates and 5,000 guests and lasts between 2 - 2.5 hours. We invite you to preview an in-person ceremony to understand the full experience. Only the names of graduates who are there in person will be announced. If your plans change, you have until November 27 to change your attendance to the December 14 virtual ceremony by emailing commencement@snhu.edu.

  • Order your regalia package by November 1 to ensure arrival by the ceremony. If you miss this deadline, regalia will be available for pick-up at the ceremony.
  • Visit our FAQ page for additional details, accessibility support and local area information.

  • Doors open 90 minutes prior to the ceremony, and you can expect the ceremony to last 2 - 2.5 hours.
  • Graduates who need accommodations to participate must complete an accessibility request form by November 13, 2024.
  • The event will be livestreamed on the Commencement website and recorded.
  • Campus is open for you to visit throughout the weekend, just under five miles north of the SNHU arena.

  • Register by November 10 to reserve up to 6 general admission guest tickets. Children who can sit on a lap don’t need a ticket. Tickets will be emailed to your SNHU email after registration to share with your guests.
  • For additional tickets, please email commencement@snhu.edu after November 10 with your request. Requests will be reviewed in consideration of space and availability.

Virtual

Saturday, December 14 at 2 p.m. ET

Join us from the comfort of your home to celebrate your achievement with family and friends. The virtual ceremony includes all the same elements as the in-person event and will be presented on YouTube in an immersive 360-degree virtual reality format. You will feel as if you’re in the Arena celebrating with fellow graduates as your name is announced with your photo and personalized message on screen. We invite you to preview a virtual ceremony to understand the full experience. The typical ceremony lasts 2 hours and can be viewed at any time that is convenient for you after it premieres on YouTube on December 14 at 2:00 p.m. ET. After registering, you will receive instructions for uploading your content and information on viewing the event. You do not need a webcam or microphone as you will not be on-screen during the ceremony.

Only the names of registered graduates will be announced. If your plans change, you can update your attendance to the in-person ceremony by emailing commencement@snhu.edu.

  • Register by November 10 to receive a slide to personalize with your photo and message of gratitude. Previous graduates have included portraits wearing regalia, family pictures or selfies. Photos and messages should be in good taste and not considered offensive to others.
  • During this step, you will also confirm your name pronunciation.
  • A direct YouTube link to your ceremony will be emailed to your SNHU email a few days prior to the event for you to share with family and friends.

  • If you need assistance with audio or visual accessibility components to upload your content, email commencement@snhu.edu
