As your admission counselor, I’m so excited for you to begin your first term here at SNHU. We’ve created this page to help set you up for success in your courses. Remember, though, if you have questions or need a pep talk, I’m always just a call or click away.

Access essential links, contacts and information including Brightspace, 24/7 academic support and tutoring and your SNHU webmail. Note: Log in using your @snhu.edu email address.
Brightspace is where you’ll find, complete and submit your assignments. Log in to explore the learning platform and check out your Week 1 assignments.
Students who take our free orientation course are more likely to succeed in their first term. Learn how to find, complete and submit assignments.
Getting your books and other materials is quick and easy. Just enter your student ID and you’ll see all the course materials you need.
Discussion board posts make up a big part of your grade — set aside a few hours each week to complete them. You can work on these assignments whenever it’s convenient for you, but they are due Thursday at 11:59 pm EST. You might also have a follow-up post due Sunday.
Your student email address serves as your official primary contact now, so you’re expected to log in to SNHU webmail regularly to check for important class and university communications. Your SNHU email address will serve as your username for SNHU platforms.
Soon, your assigned academic advisor will reach out to you. They’re here to help you choose courses, get extra help when you need it and stay on track with your studies. Save their contact info to your phone so you can reach out to them whenever you need help!
At the end of Week 1, you will be withdrawn from courses you do not participate in, so make sure you complete your Module One discussion board post on time. In some courses, your first assignment may be to simply introduce yourself and answer a few questions about what you’d like to get out of the class!
